Chen Yumin currently serves as Chairman of Shandong Gold Group, also holds additional positions of Vicepresident of China Gold Association, Vicepresident of China Mining Association, President of Shandong Gold Association and a member of Shanghai Gold Exchange Council.

Project of “Key technologies of high-efficient mining and security guarantee for large submarine metal deposits”, led by Chen Yumin, won the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award. A dozen research results about mining engineering, geological prospecting and rock mechanics obtain provincial and ministerial level awards. Several papers like “Development of digital management system about metal mine geological resource”, “Safe production management system about integrated stope of underground metal mine” and “Influence analysis about minerals price on the value of mining rights” are published in some key magazines like China Mining.
